The Original

This is the Maserati Spyder GT, as officially launched on the 2001 Frankfurt Motorshow. Maserati went the whole nine yards with the Spyder GT. It is based on the 3200 GT but
the drivetrain and the chassis were thoroughly upgraded. The displacement is increased which resulted in more horsepower and torque and a topspeed of over 175 mph. The Spyder GT is equipped with either a six speed manuel or a 6 speed F1-style semi automatic gearbox controlled by paddles behind the steering wheel.
