The RS 4 Avant sets new standards with its outstandingly sporty road dynamics. The 4.2-litre V8 engine with FSI direct petrol injection and high-revving concept has a power output of 309 kW (420 hp) at 7,800 rpm, max. torque of 430 Nm at 5.500 rpm and a power-to-weight ratio of 4.07 kg/hp; it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds, i.e. from 0 to 200 km/h in 16.9 seconds, with top speed at 250 km/h (regulated); it is equipped with quattro permanent four wheel drive with asymmetric dynamic torque split and sports suspension with variable damping (DRC).
