OPEL GT 1900, 1970
In 1965 Opel presented an eye catching Coupe, at the IAA Which was allegedly built for experimental purposes. Yet, the GT named two seater was included in the Opel Range in respect of appearance and technology, pleasing the public eye.
It immediately sold extremely well resulting from both its unsusual shape and brilliant road holding as well as its relatively low price. Until the production was stopped in July 1973, more than 103,000 cars left the Bochum Opel works, of which more than 80% were exported.
