The Original

1999 was the start of one of the most heated and close competitions between Brian Simo and Paul Gentilozzi. The season would not prove to be an easy one for either driver as Simo and Gentilozzi battled throughout the season for the lead in points. After some of the most heated racing in series history Gentilozzi has pulled of to repeat of the previous season by winning the champioship in one of the closest points races to date. Simo had nothing to hang his head about at the end of the season for he had given the Gentilozzi HomeLink Mustang a fight to the end.
