The Original

Turbo" is a byword where Porsche cars are concerned: for all of Porsches most successful race cars have used forced induction.

In 1974, Porsche AG introduced the 930/911 Turbo to the public and set off on a new road. At the same time, the governing body of Motor Sport introduced the new "silhouette" formula to sports car racing. Thus the immortal 934 RSR series...

Interlagos Fire

At no other Formula 1 meeting does the race heat up as much as at the annual Brazilian Grand Prix. At the Interlagos circuit near Sao Paulo it's not only a question of a blazing start, blistering speed and victory, because on every Grand Prix run on this course the heat and humidity also take their toll on the drivers.

Interlagos motordrome is renowned for its heat and fire, brown soil and gleaming reflections of the sun - Brazilian fire on red earth. It is precisely this dazzling array of colors that have been captured in the Interlagos Fire special effect finish.

This extraordinary paint lights up at first sight in a shade of terracotta sparkling with gold, then yields to a blaze of fiery colors before modulating into the gentle and calming reddish violet of the setting sun. This fascinating effect has been achieved with a novel type of pigment whose chemical composition and structure causes iridescence across a broad color spectrum.
