BMW 2002 Turbo was known as the "New Age" sports sedan. Only 1,672 units have been made from 1973 to 1975 and none were certified for sales in the USA. The engine produced 170hp at 5800 rpm. The distinguishing of the Turbo was the KKK turbocharger. It was mounted low on the right front of the engine and air was fed to it through a tube. The holes in the front spoiler are for cooling.
